Welcome to Cala-Sona Self Catering Isle of Skye

Based on the stunning Isle of Skye Cala-Sona is ideally situated for exploring the whole island. Based in Portnalong, close to Talisker Distillery this self catering accommodation has all the comforts of home to make your stay a memorable one. Based in a small crofting community there is a shop next door and the local pub serving good hearty meals is within walking distance.

The accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms (one ensuite), bathroom and disabled access. There is a new kitchen with all the facilities you could wish for on the days you would like to stay in. In the lounge there is a fireplace, along with central heating Cala-Sona is your home away from home.

Directions to Cala-Sona

By Air: Inverness, Glasgow or Edinburgh airports Follow directions to Kyle on the A87 where you cross the bridge to Skye onto the A850 heading for Portree. Follow through Broadford and Sconsor turning left at the Sligachan Hotel onto the A863 for Dunvegan. Turn left at the B8009 proceeding through Carbost, past the Talisker Distillery, up the hill and 3km down the road, following Loch Harport, turn left toward Fiskavaig. Cala-Sona is opposite the first house on the left.

By Bus: Serviced by local bus from Portree several times a day

By Ferry: Only one ferry to the Island ­ from Maliag to Armadale, follow the A851 to Broadford, the rest as above.

By Rail: Closest train station is Kyle as above

From Portree the capital of Skye. Follow the main road A850 for Broadford, when you reach the Sligachan Hotel turn right onto the A863 for Dunvegan. Turn left at the B8009 proceeding through Carbost, past the Talisker Distillery, up the hill and 3km down the road, following Loch Harport, turn left toward Fiskavaig. Cala-Sona is opposite the first house on the left.
